I’ve spent more than 20 years working in the health‑tech and programs industry, helping others navigate care systems while quietly fighting my own battle with weight — a struggle that began at ten years old and was shaped by years of trauma. Three years ago, I hit a breaking point and realized that if I didn’t change my trajectory, I wouldn’t be able to care for my kids in a safe, healthy, and present way. I didn’t rush into surgery; instead, I spent two years strength training, rebuilding my body, and doing the hard internal work to understand why I struggled for so long.
In February 2026, I chose the Gastric Sleeve — not to become as small as possible, but to reach a safe, stable weight that would allow me to keep building strength and protect the muscle I had worked so hard to gain. Today, I’m deeply passionate about bariatric health, strength training, and long-term wellness. I’m currently completing three obesity‑science courses and working toward my personal training certification so I can help others rebuild their lives with the same focus: strength, safety, and a future that feels bigger, not smaller.
